Bestival tickets go on sale in several batches.  Early bird tickets are normally put up for sale for the following year around a week after the festival has finished in September.  These tend to be a little cheaper than the bulk of the tickets for Bestival so if you’re dead set on going then you can save yourself some money by buying early.  The rest of the Bestival tickets normally go on sale at the beginning of May.

How To Bag Yourself A Bestival Ticket

Whichever type of ticket you are going for, you will find they generally go on sale at 9am on the day they are released and, as is the case with every type of festival ticket, the punters that get on the phone/internet early enough are the ones that are going to the festival.  This means you need to prepare as follows:

  1. Set your alarm for 8am
  2. Get up and consume whatever kind of caffeinated drink you need to wake up.
  3. Make sure your internet connection is working.
  4. Make sure your mobile is charged/firmly instruct your parents/sister/housemate/boyfriend that they may not under ANY circumstances use the landline phone until you have confirmation of your Bestival purchase.
  5. Check you’ve got enough cash in your bank account/on your credit card to pay for the ticket(s).
  6. Make sure you have the phone numbers/ticket website address written down correctly.

As soon as the clock hits 8.55am open up the Bestival website (and any others you plan to use as a second option – see below) and keep refreshing the page until the tickets appear.  If you are using the phone then start calling at exactly 8.59am.
